Hi can anyone tell me how much 15 inch wheels with 195 50 15 tires would rub on my polo gt. The car has been lowered 60mm at the front and 40mm at the back cheers chris

All cars are a bit different but I would say 195/50s would rub quite a bit. 195/45-15s will probably rub on standard arches with a 60mm drop.

165/50s should be fine though.

No offence but have you had a Mk2 or Mk3 Polo?

iv got 15 inch bbs with 195/50s and I'm just using 15 mm spacers on back with a 50/40 lowering kit fronts r ok with minor scrug on full lock .

That's surprising. My Mk2 got serious arch scrub with standard offset 15s with 195/45s.

The wheels are 7 inch

i have 15x7, stretched 175 tyres on and theres no rubbing down at 60mm all round

195 WILL scrub

I had a Mk3 coupe for 7 months and my mate has the exact same now, he's running 15x6.5, 195/45 all round and 40mm drop all round, rubs only on full lock, he doesnt drive soft and the rears haven't caught yet.

Top caps are going on the front and the backs going 1 notch down (philj shocks), that'll be enough without too much drama.

my tyres were about 35 pound a corner
