I hired a focus 1.4 a while ago and i was so happy that i could give it back. Typical shitty ford.

Get the mk4 16v if you're after something nippy.

Get a mk3 G40 if you wanna go really fast! hahaha

1. they are made by ford. mmm. nice image you got there.

2. they are fooking ugly with the exception of the RS.

3. they are plasticy and dated to fook inside.

4. they dont hold their value

5. ford engines will either last forever, or die young, and are generally pretty crap.

I'd have a Focus over a Mk4 Golf :)

I've had two foci in the past. They are good cars if you just wanna go to and from work comfortably with no frills. They are just boring cars with no feel and they don't like being driven hard, and the smaller engined ones i.e. 1.4, 1.6 ones are just pathetic. Suspension is really soft and Ford only managed to squeeze 98bhp from a 1.6 16v engine...which gives it an amusing trick, it will do just over 100mph in 4th gear, slip it into 5th at that speed and it slows down to 90mph

Anyway what I'm leading to is, buy a Polo, much better than a Focus
