hi folks purchased this on tuesday night.is a 1.0l

94000 miles body is in decent condition for its age,quite straight.exactly what i was lookin for.

pland are turn it into a van if i can sourse some pannels.

80mm front sus and rear coilovers are on their way thanks to phil.

also just bought some mattig steels wich are on their way from germany.

i haven't had chance to clean it yet.inside stinks of old fags and mucky underpants.on a mornig the smell proper wakes you up!

Looks like a nice base! Remove the towbar then back2black the bumpers and she will be lookin good!

gona warm the bumpers up first to get the colour back.aparrently its a genuine tow bar lol

Black mk2 breadvan that looks tidy. Nice find. Not too many black ones and the ones you see are usually baggy as funk!!

bought some more goodies this weekend:

tca's

disks

pads

front flexi brake hoses

arb bushes

oil + filter

antifreeze

.taken the tow bar off and the crappy fogs.going to order a new clutch in the week as the thrust bearing is makin a right racket.

also found a nice hole on the battery tray and spare wheel well.

if the towbar is of use to anyone they can have it

had a busy weekend to say the least.ran into a few problems with rounded bolts as stripped threads,but thanks to a few mates shes back on the road.also had a real problem with gettin the coilovers on the rear as they were a poor fit.

one of the arches needs a lick of paint and maybe a bit of filler but all in all I'm pretty happy so far.

got the new clutch in today thanks to peteg40.

purchased some black gt interor today too

That looks bloody lovely mate!

Like the lowering and wheels you've fitted, just need some decent pics up now so we can really enjoy it! Single lamp grille FTW though, much cooler than the twins!

What size and ET are the Mattigs, they look flippin' great?

What other plans do you have for it?

yeah gona get some more pics up when give it a good clean.

de badged single lamp grille,all red rear lights and just a general tidy up,paint arches weld batt tray up etc

oh yeah the mattigs are 7x13 et 23.had to flare the arches on the rear and still need a bit of work.

i didnt really plan going that low on the rear but thats the highest i could get the coilovers to go

i ahve one exactly like this, but i have no idea how to flare the arches, any ideas!? / tips!?

i used a hudraulic tool and a hammer.not the best way of doing it but my arches needed touching up anyway lol

Looking sweet with the Mattigs on. Make sure you get the rear arches all treated up when you have it how you want it. Be a shame for the old tin worm to get in there.

No need for rattle can on the lights:
