I dont know if this is the right place to post this but as title WATCH OUT DODGY member about (Now been deleted)

As some of you may know I've been after some dragon green 16v bumpers for a while now and the otherday i got a pm saying mint pair of 16v bumpers £75 posted for the pair with a mobile number attached.

I text the number as the person wouldent answer the phone asking for some pictures 10 mins later i recieve pictures of 8v bumpers so i text back saying I'm after 16v not 8v thanks anyway.

The person then replyed saying sorry i must of sent you the wrong pictures so i left it at that. I've just got home to a pm from this member saying hes sent me more pictures of 16v bumpers but I've not recieved anything and I've noticed that this member has been deleted so beware of anyone offering dragon green 16v bumpers for £75 as you will only recieve 8v bumpers.

As said the member has now been deleted (Maybe today) so i dont know whats going on mate. Just thought i would warn people.

I'm just glad i never sent over any money mate.

And you'r not wrong on a few forums i use there seems to of been a few people done over by scammers. Its a shame as every time i go to buy somthing i think twice

the easiest answer is to always keep your witts about you

and do some research on sellers etc

only spend what you can risk loosing

Also the big thing that seems to rattle at back of my mind with all this, is the people that complain about paypal fees and the likes, if you had of bought off him using paypal, you could claim it back

So its all relative really

the most important thing is, if something seems too cheap to be true, it probably is so be extra, extra careful.

And Paypal is well worth it, the 'fees' are like insurance really, so if anything goes wrong you can pretty much get your money back.

think somethings gonna have to be done or soon nobody will be able to sell anything without being classed as a scammer if the item aint sent straight away.
