i want to paint my roof lining black to match the rest of the car, any tips on this?

any examples? the car does have a metal sunroof.

buy some fabric or clothes dye and do it in yrou bath or something i say, i did it in my old mini it worked great, you just have to turn it over now and then so it doesent get differant coloured bits (shades)

isnt the roof lining in these like a vynal plastic??

iirc xcore has a mk4 with a recaro interior, so I'm guessing its that he wants the headlining done in, now I'm not 100 % sure as i cant remember BUT a mk4 headlining is cloth.... if he has another mk3 then, nooo idea

dude if you go down to halfrauds i think you can buy a spray that does rooflings and stuff....iirc rolo did it to one of his mk3's...worked mint and i think charlie may have done it too....

I've painted the roof linig in both y mk2 and mk3 i used the vinyle paint from halfords . It works a treat looks sweet . Good as new .

is it just a case of masking it all off and spraying on? do you have to prime it?

foliatec paint i beleive is whwta halfords sell and can be used

i used foliatec in my old mk2, take all the seats out, covered the dash, open the doors and boot, lay back and spray, easy as that.
