Looking for a set of weller wheels for my GT a tthe moment.

however I'm unsure of what details and specs will fit my car?

most say ford fitment or mini fitment etc so I'm just curious as to what pcd etc i should be looknig for.

4x100, don't really want anything wide than a 7J ET20 on the front. Backs depends on weather its a coupe or a square.

you can buy sets for vauxhall nova rally cars in 7"x13" PCD 100, ET 46ish. you can run 10mm spacers and they'll be fine

Its a coupe GT, i want it to not pertrude the arches if possible but still give a wide sort of look... is this even possible lol?

I've seen a few sets in mini fitment that have been 13's and was wondering if 13's would ruin my fuel economy and also how safe is running these wobble bolts? to they do any damage to the hub etc?

Loads of people run 13s, like 90% of people, lol. The way I look at it is that if wobble bolts were as dangerous as people make out surely you wouldn't be able to sell them legally in the UK. All the health and safety crap we have in the UK and if they were unsafe I'm sure they'd not be on sale!

You may need spigot rings though. I believe they are an offset around 5 or something. The fronts stick out a little using 175's but you can cure this with a bit of stretch using 165's

Cant use vented disks though!

ET20 sits about flush with the arches so ET5 is going to poke out.

No 4x108 is Ford fitment. But a lot of wellers come in multi-fit so they might be 4x100 but also have 4x108 on them.

I think you can have a lower offset on the back as the front track on a front wheel drive car is generally wider than the rear. So you could possibly get ET5 under the rear arches but I doubt it if you would under the fronts. Sitting flush I mean, you'll get them on but I have a feeling they will poke out.

Best thing you can do is try and find pics of cars with 13x7 wheels and see what offsets they are.

what a complicated thing this is ill see if i can find any GT owners with wellers and ask what they're offsets are!

They don't specifically have to be Wellers, just as long as there 13x7 and the owner knows what the ET is on them.

It is complicated when you don't really understand, but once you work it out its simple!

why cant you run vented discs? i have had wellers on mine and have the normal G40 setup. just use CL carriers and your fine

These are my wellers, tho i doubt you'll find another set too easily. I think they are 6.5" et9 fronts and 7" et34 rears with 33mm of spacers to make et1. 175/50/13's all round

I have a camber shim on the back, i had to get mine redrilled as the original fitment is 4x95.6 or something, i believe they were originally for an old british sports car, MG/Triumph or something like that

ahhhh right i see.. i want to get some that dont need camber shimming and will still sit in the arches legally with stretch on them.

Yeah, i have been looknig at a few from MG's so i think thats the ones you might have also.

You dont need any adaptors at all, new Weller wheels are drilled with 8 holes not 4, 4 of the holes are spaced at 4x108, and the other set of holes in between them are at 4x100... Also because they're made primarily for stock car racing/motorsport then theres pretty good clearance for brake calipers!!

Check out the Weller site it'll explain it all! They're a direct fit.
