Hi-ho polo people ! I'm new to all this forum lark so bear with me, thought i'd have a look and see if anyone was interested in our car. You already know what these little pocket rockets are like so i'll just stick to the essentials for now. A new baby is forcing the sale of our smashing little GT. Its a late H reg 1991, both tax & mot run out june 09. We bought it in july 03 and it had 52k on the clock, its now just gone past 90k. There was no history with the car when purchased but we've kept all receipts since we have owned it, nothing major at all. Excellent condition for age, clean interior, no rips or mis-shapes in bolsters, 5 seat belts, 5 good tyres, sony 10 disc/radio/cassette with uprated speakers front & rear. Sorry bud I've been proper busy, theres obviously a few bits on a car of this age but they really are minor, a small patch on the bonnet that needs a polish up, the very small beginings of a scab or two on the rear arches i think but nothing to worry about. Looking through our receipts we have; new distributor, battery tray welded, new rear brake cylinders, new pads and shoes, new windscreen, new rear silencer, new head gasket, inlet & exhaust gaskets and rocker cover gasket, new thermostat & housing + thermo switch , and i would estimate from the date that we had the timing belt changed around the 53k mark.
