picked it up lucy, and blug popped round the evening before to drop off an engine mount and i brought up the coupe in conversation and it turned out that he used to own it! small world.

Anyway plans are stick the oz routes on and a remus exhaust I've got, and possibly chop a coil off the 40mm springs I've got and stick them on.

its just a cheap lil runner until i get the crashbot running and taxed as it means i can get to the units to work on the cars =]

the fuel filler cap is in the boot haha, not been bothered to fit it yet, karl said he would paint up the filler area for me so thats all good.

some monkey yesterday in a chavved up blue mk4 golf with viper stripes on it decided to veer into the drivers wing at some traffic lights then drive off with his hazards on. i think he was either on crack, or drunk or both! no major damage but i hate the black country, the last time i was there someone crashed into the same side wing on my old G40 after the cp rr day. gimboids

She didn't even stop, look, apologies and she knew the car was occupied and it was running! She just pulled the bag up and jiggled it in her hand and felt the bag liek she didn't know what whas in there and then carried on walking with it by her side the old hag. anyway few updates on the motor, cleaned up the stickers, got a new exhaust fitted along with some teardrops with 195/45s on (which will find there way onto the oz routelets) and also fitted some mk1 chrome bumpers to the beasty =]

Got a weichers lower strut brace and either a set of VWIIs or lucas 56 calipers for G40 spec or 256mm brakes. Ill do it all when i get a suspension kit to stick on, of which I'm wavering towards a hnr cup kit!

aye i know, its annoying as its a remus exhaust made for the mk2/3 polos. I think it would sit better under the mk3s bigger bumpers anyhow.

but its staying for the time being, and going on the lupolo when its finished. its not even as loud as i would of hoped =[ and by not loud i mean not loud at all grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
