Part of the fun of having a lowered car is hearing it bottom out at every other small dip in the road

As long as it doesn't affect me,I don't care.

I keep my distance from vehicles in front,so I can hold a steady speed whilst the fool in front has to accelerate between belly-scraping. If they've chosen to modify their car in such a way that it's a pain to use then that's their problem.

Unless I'm in a hurry,when I'll overtake. Because,despite being 40-50mm down, I can.

But if they cause a problem,like hit someone or something whilst trying to avoid a pothole,or obstruct an emergency vehicle because they can't get out the way,I'll knock them out cold.

I'm getting bored of being so low now, i'm raising it up soon - it's completely impractical through winter and makes driving less fun!

i find it funny crawling over speedbumps and pissing people off behind you

getting stuck on a curb in a car park, not being able to drop a birdy outside her front door making her walk bout 15 mins cos all the speed bumps down her road, not being able to get it on the ramp at the garage

my polo seemed to have 6th sense not me,i was on chopped springs (dont hate the player hate the game) with no bump stops thanks to rolo whenever i went out in it,it used to bottom out just to let me know there was a nasty pothole ahead

i ripped my exhaust off dropping a girl off once,just drove off leaving it on the speedbump to cool down,dropped her off,went back and put it in the car drove home very discretely haha

i'll always rock a lowered car, so much fun!

the sound of a good scrape or a knock is dreamy! i could never drive a car that isn't slammed again! my brother has just bought a lupo and that next to mine just looks dafthigh! i love being low! ad for all those honda driving haters out there, i have one of these...

a mate of mine bought it for me purely for the fact that every lowered car should have one! hahaha

Ha i need to get one of those, where did you get it from? I dont find it too bad coz u just look like a tool if you go bombing it through areas with speed bumps anyway. Lowandslow is the way forward.

i was jsut parking up, & there was a missive bang, so i reversed, got out & there was a fuck off hole in the ground & the cover & its bed had been shifted forward ahha

Taxis are fun to wind up, its work men at 7.30 in the morning that dont see the funny side of things.

Birds never really say anything, just laugh if it bottoms out.

i love going over speed bumps...its even better when people are behind you and if they piss me off ill go even slower...

had someone come along side me the other day going "you went to slow over that speed bump" i was like WTF its there to slow you down!! tosser

I've just been out and raised my car about 60mm. Looks very iffy but its a much faster car because of it - driving down roads without risk of bottoming out and being able to see more have made a difference.

I wanna do that with mine, but 14x8s with uber arch gap would look TOO stupid.

it can get annoying being low but you put up with it just because it looks mint,

you really need to get the rocket launcher fitted to the roof, blow the bastard speed bumps right out the way

will probably leave you with a bigass pothole to deal with though

Gigantic metal skid pan underneath would be ideal. Just get a good run up and slide over it!

i have a simlar thing. love my gt and how low she is. but went on a first date with this lass the other day and the first thing she said to me was..." what happened to your number plate"? lol ( have completely smoothed lid with plate in window). i cracked up, dont think it impressed her. then it was a fairly bumpy drive home. you become more aware of how bumpy it is when there is someone in the car with you that cant appreciate it. was quite funny!
