I bought some leather seats for my polo from a VR6 and I've fit the front two but the height adjustment on the driver's seat doesn't seem to work... The lever just doesn't seem to engage.

I am 6 foot 4 and my head touches the roof if it's not fully down and I canny get her down! Is there any way I can do it manually without the lever? Once it's down I won't need to adjust it again so I'm not bothered about fixing the lever, just need to get it down so I don't get a hunch-back driving it.

Took the seat out, flipped it over and saw I just needed to tighten the cable that pulls the little catch on the left side.

I won't be a hunchback afterall.
