am i right in saying that most people wait for good conditions before speeding, i even keep to 50 - 60 on an A road if its pissing down, madness.

my mate got clocked in his bmw at 80 in a 60, hes losing his license, but its quite easy to get off if you say you'll lose your job if you lose your car mad fine instead though!

Right the dude is a total tool for doing 125mph around Ellon (its close to where I live and you need to be a tool to try and get over 100mph around there.

I don't agree with the way he was "clocked" speeding though. By a local traffic cop with a radar gun. It sounds as if they clocked him, got his details from his reg number and sent him a standard N.I.P. Just the impression I get as he was "clocked" rather than 'caught'. I got clocked speeding this way and I don't believe its right. They clock you and take a picture but they don't stop you.

Say you were "clocked" doing 70 in a 40 like I was, didn't notice the police, then further down the road your still doing 70 and you crash. Surely the police haven't then done their job? Whereas if you are caught by a cop car i.e. pulled over then as your let go you should (if your a sensible person) stick to the limits for a while, meaning the police have done their job?

Just my thoughts on these radar guns anyway.

TBH what is 10mph between a 60zone and the 70 zone called a motorway, everyone seems to think 125+on an m'way is acceptable,
