mums insurance...fail

not getting no no claims bonus..thats if you aint with direct line

but even then..direct line normally charge a fair bit for that privelage

when you come off your mums insurance, your premium will be mahoosive lol

Dont go with directline whatever you do.

I did the build your own no claims thing as a named driver with them.

Turns out, if you decide to go for a different company after that year when you have 1 years ncb, you cant use the NCB, its only usable with directline.

Pricks.

I've just been through it all, finished a year, assumed i had a years no claims, but no, only if i stay with them as a named driver again.

So i've gotta declare myself as having no NCB, and my insurance is still similar price to last year unfortunatly, so i gotta keep my Polo another year, i wanted a Bora. :(

Some companies take it into consideration though mate, its worth mentioning it.

Its also worth getting in touch with direct line and asking them to send you proof of no claims.
