just wondering, is it a big job to get rid of the rub strips on the side of my 3door, will they leave holes or are they just D/sided taped on like the badges?

No holes... just some gunk...

as above but be careful as the paint will be slightly different in colour behind the rub strips as it hasnt seen the sun to fade. So i reccommend some T-CUT. As for removing them be careful you may rip the paint off with them. I think the best technique is heat them up with a hairdrier then use some fishing wire to saw through the glue behind the bump strip. Then some petrol on a rag to remove the remaining glue.

heat em up with some water then peel em off and remove the glue, buff and enjoy

look at the paint around the trim before you remove, hopefully the car has had no repairs done in its life!

can be left with nasty lacquer marks!

well worth a stab at it tho looks lots better!

I'd advise against T-Cut , it might not be that bad on a black car..

If the paint is faded, give it a polish with something light, say Autoglym Super Resin
