Ok guys and girls, i've kinda got bored of the motor after spending shedloads of money on maintenance and modding. Bought the car with some issues, which has all been sorted in the past 2yrs i've owned it. Due to getting bored with the project its an opportunity for someone else to carry on with it.

BASIC SPEC

97' model 'P' reg

Central locking, electric windows, power steering, Scorpion alarm, Airbag, factory seatbelts, spare wheel with kit etc.

MOT= 12 months (flew through it with no problems or advisories)

Tax= 11 months

Details

Mileage is currently at 95k with a FSH. Serviced at the dealers up until the last 2 which were done with specialists. Last major service I spent £700 at Big Boys Toys (I know what your thinking but it shows I maintain the car regardless of cost). Substantial amount of receipts for work ever carried out. Car is currently due a minor service. Receipts and FSH shows had a cambelt etc changed at 57k and 72k.

Since ownership I have replaced the following;

Dizzycap and leads

Temp sendor

Battery (full 2yrs warranty still left) £103

Gearbox had a full recon with bearings and 4th gear replaced (still has 7months warranty) £600

Pedal box replaced. £250

Vacuum hose

Front wishbones £45

Tracking just done on 9/11/08

Mods Bodywork

Smooth front 16v bumper,

Colour-coded 16v splitter,

Mercedes black sprayed roof,

Smoothed off rear badges and plate recess on boot,

Rear 16v bumper plate lights smoothed off and repositioned one at the bottom for plate to sit,

Removed rubber side strips,

FK Angel lights,

6000k HID kit,

Slated grill,

16v rear lights sprayed dark red (Also have the black FK LED clusters sprayed red with the VW emblem which will also come with the car),

Dubmeister UK Legal pressed plates (*still need to remove the previous adhesive pads still on the rear bumper*)

Interior

Aluminium door pins and matching gearnob (not chavy),

Very clean 16v interior kept by a non smoker.

Engine: 1.4 16v DOHC 100bhp.

K&N 57i Induction kit with cold air feed hose.

Handling

FK 30mm - 120mm coilovers (not sure which model as previous owner fitted them.) Currently sitting at 70mm.

Black Diamond combi discs with BD Predator pads.

Rims choice of 2 lol.

15" 1-piece polished Zenders with studs at 7J ET25. One rim has a major kerb although it could be fully refurbed. Not really noticeable and still polished on a weekly basis. Comes with 195/45/15 tyres. If you wish to have these then make a higher offer.

16" black multispokes would come with the car. 195/40/16 tyres.

ICE

SEVIC 3.5" DIN1 DVD player with USB, SD, AUX, iPod, removable fascia and remote. Never checked if any factory speakers have been replaced, which I don't think they have although there is a set of Sony Xplode 6x9 speakers.

Bad Points:

Few fine line scratches along driver door which can easily be touched up or Tcut. Rust on O/S rear arch starting to bubble up and a tiny 5pence amount on passenger door. Not noticeable and I haven't had time to treat it. Tiny tear at the seam of the driver door bolster. Also the usual amount of front end stone chips expected from a 11yr old car!

Now the important bit of this lecture! I'm looking for £2375ovno without the Zender rims. So make me sensible offers and state which set of rims you'd prefer. Offer me higher if you wish to have the Zenders.

Only selling cos after selling anout £3-4k I really want to NOT mod for a whileand save up for something bigger. Furthermore, i've had it for over 2.5yrs now so want a change.

yo Noz btw just asking... are your angels Sonar??.. i got the same i think didnt know they can be connected to HID?!.. 6K make much difference at nite?
