CBT and when get a derestricted RS125 or similar, they're fast enough with a few upgrades, my mates was an ex-race engine good for a tonne.

You can laugh at rs 125s but when you realise that one with a couple mods will have a power to weight ratio of like 400bhp per tonne you wont be laughing. They are basically 125 race bikes with lights. My mate has one with some mods and my bandit hardly sits with it, they handle great and are very chuckable and cheap to mod too.

A standard one is good for over the tonne no bother, never mind mods.

Watch the tuono version though as it is over 33 bhp as standard and is not learner legal afaik

Small cc bikes are still fast

I'm posotive you can not ride a 33bhp motorcycle on just a CBT. It has to be 11kw or under (14.6bhp)

If you dont have a liscence you need to apply for a provisional, same as you would with learning to drive a car.

Take your CBT, If you are 16 you can ride a bike no more than 50cc and that is restricted to 30mph. If you are 17 or older you can ride a 125cc motorcycle with up to 11kw etc etc.

Take your A1 test and you can have any bike you want as long as you restrict it to 33bhp. After two years you can ride anything you want.

Or if you are 21 or over you can do a direct access course which gives you full power entitlement immidiatly.

FACTS!

:D

Ooops forgot to add you need to display L plates if you have only done a CBT!

just a little note, full power rs125's aren't even legal when you get your 33bhp restricted licence as the power to weight ratio is too high

Ooops forgot to aff you need to display L plates if you have only done a CBT!

yes

Cheers Tommo, thats the simple explanation i needed haha!! It sucks that you cant even ride an RS 125 with a FULL license unless you do the direct one!!

Yes but to be honest it says more about the bike than it does about the liscence!

Everyone rides derestricted RS's on CBT's..
