hello everyone

i got a mk4 1.3 and it ent starting theres no spark or fuel cuming throught the injector.cus there was no spark i checked the coil and der was nuffin so i then checked if there was any fuel n there was nuffin so i checked all the fuses and the fuel pump realy n they were ok so i thought of the hall effect sensor as theres no spark or fuel n these are signs of the crank sensor but as ul no polo's dont have um and the hall sensor takes its place so i replaced it to n stil no luk.the engine just turns over til the battery goes flat, anyone got any ideas please

sounds like hall sender to me i had this problem with the wifes 1.3 mk4 polo swapped the distributor over (only because i had one laying around) problem solved

the hall sender is available as a seperate unit and is easy to replace on the distributor

alright mate iv changed the hall sensor no luck n i soroused it down to the ecu but iv herd it needs to be re proggramed do you no if its truth
