I dont know really, I've gt £300 in my bank account atm, but wouldnt like to spend anywhere near that, although i have no idea how much these things cost, how much was your set up?

i got a cheap sony explod sub and amp of the ebay for £50...couldnt knock it!

I've been testing ICE today for work.

Value for money wise, FLI stuff can't be beat. Really good sound for the money. I tested a 4 channel amp, boxed 12" sub and components, and the whole lot came to less than £240rrp.

Vibe CBR12/10 are good

fli is good I'm feelin some sub/amp deals on caraudiosecurity they can b pretty cheap good value for money.

The Vibe CBR12 is a fucking monster, punches the wind out of you when it hits the low notes. It's quite a bit pricier than the FLI stuff though, and you'll need a suitably powerful amp.

i vote a diesel russian one.

Nuclear would be better though

Id say buy second hand, you can get a powerful sub and amp combo for half retail price.

I've got a JBL GT4 (i think) and i like it....well it does the job i want it to  A mate of mine has just bought a set up from caraudiosecurity for £170. It has 2 15" Fli subs in a box, a 1200 watt amp (cant remeber make), a powercap and a wiring kit included, some sort of package deal :) And my god its loud! :D

You want to stick with something basic mate. Don't go into great detail with boot build etc.. Unless its a show car. Just pop to halfords and buy yourself a package mate. Or hit www.caraudiocentre.com or co.uk

Thing is though you could buy a cheap setup and make the install itself look mint with a bit of effort and not much money, presentation is the key.

two orion hcca 15in :D that will do the job.

Here's my 'install':

alpine type r ftw

Www.caraudiocentre.com or .co.uk

go 2nd hand, i had a 15" kicker in a box with a 2000watt renegade amp and jbl wiring kit for £230 or something when i had my first car

sold it all on a couple of months back for £160 aswell 8-)

You cant go wrong with Rockford fosgate.

jbl gt4 12 £20 brand new of ebay laughing

best value for money^^^^

I had infinity for my last setup which cost me £150 for 12" sub and 1200watt amp off caraudiosecurity

New set up now is 12" alpine with 1200watt amp (i think) £50 second hand!!

Ask around.. or Egay it. =)

Audio system subs are the tits but you need some hefty amps to do them justice!
