CarPC!

Featured Replies

I have a CarPc up for grabs only selling due to the situation of the polo, incredible reluctant sale as it's an awesome piece of kit! However I need funds to repair the polo.

The installation of the Pc is practically plug and play, they way in which I completed the soldering of all the components is so that everything was very versatile in sense that the pc could be moved in and outdoors!

The PC comes with:

- All it's 8 gage wiring including (in-line fuse).

- Ignition switches.

- Manual turn on switches.

- 15A miniature fuses.

- USB mini thumb Qwerty keyboard.

- USB mini mouse.

- USB mini hub (4 ports).

- Extra faceplate without CD bezel slot.

- Touch screen drivers

- CarNetix CNX-P1900 V2 +19V/140W DC-DC Regulator (All it's 8AWG wiring + adapters)

- USB Bluetooth Dongle.

- Can also throw in a 6N glove box, modded to accompany all the wiring if need be.

- Adapter to plug computer into your home.

PC Specs:

- Windows XP OS (cut down version of the windows, so it loads faster when ignition is switched on)

- 120GB 3.5" HDD.

- CPU P4 2.4 ghz Socket 478.

- 1GB DDR RAM.

- Built in GFX.Sound,LAN and Firewire.

- Slimline Laptop DVD + R/RW, CD+ R/RW.

- Road Runner Front End touch screen software pre-tuned to work with winamp!

- A heap of flash games, films and songs.

- (Can install Navigator in for you, all you would need is to buy a USB GPS receiver, £4-5? on Ebay.

- Can also Install Office 08 completely free as well!

TBH with you mate, I'm making a loss as it is as it cost me over £360 to build without the screen. The best I can do is £300+P&P. I also haven't had the chance to go by past DHL yet, so I'll get a price for you on Friday the latest and I'll PM you back.
