Rawing the body work..

Featured Replies

Right, just bought a little mk4 polo, and the body work is quite tatty on it, to be honest its pretty much perfect for a rat look! So thats what I'm doing, and I'm currently in the process of rawing ALL the body work of all its paint! And then I'm going to laquer it so it doesnt rust!

What I need to know is,how do i go about my insurance and the documents for my car? I.e the colour! Because I know when used to always get pulled in my golf, they would radio through "Yeahh its a red volkswagen golf" So, should I just tell my insurance I'm rawing the paint? I'm worried because direct line dont insure modified vehicles, and would this be classed as a mod?

Any info would help really!!

Nice one,

Danny!

Ahhwell ill find out soon when I next get pulled! Lol

Just dont use nitromorse, apparently it attacks the metal and weakens it. IIRC anyway.

But TBH i dont think it would look very good. Forced Rat FTL.
