mk2 or 3, coupe or saloon 1.0 or 1.3

Featured Replies

still looking for another car to use as my daily. so must be reasonably tidy and have a decent length MOT, really looking for at least 6 months but try me.

as title says a mk 2 or 3, coupe or saloon. 1.3 is preferable, but 1.0 is also considered. not sure about GT's on insurance, so try me if you have one and i'll give insurance a call when i remember.

if its a good one and i like the look of it I'm willing to travel a bit, so lets say any cars in the south-east/south/london area. my postcode is TN2, would prefer for it to be within 50 miles odd of this post code. as i dont have a car and i work all day most days, finding time to travel long distances is hard.

if anyone knows or has anything, please post or pm me and i will pm back.

been looking for the right car for 2 months and i feel I've let 2 slip between my fingers already!

Thanks

Oli

lets throw mk1's into the equation as well. never had any doubts over owning mini's of the same age and older, so why it should be different with polo's i dont know.

but again, looking for over 6 months MOT and a tidy car.

just checked insurance for a GT and its good.

so a mk3 GT would be most perfect!

now decided to pretty much look at anything thats got a long MOT and is around £500 or less.

OR

a nice GT if one comes up.

OR

still might be tempted by a local loon

if i got a non GT coupe id always be wanting to upgrade to a GT. and id want to sort out some style issues too, which is fine if i then transfer it all to a GT, but I'm still looking for a nice mini, in which case it would be wasted money i cant afford to waste
