Whats the deal with these stubbies anyway ? Why can't you pick them up from parts at vw etc ???

How are they different to standard ones ? (Apart from them obviously being stubbier)

What defines what cars they came on and didn't ?

the stubby ones were an optional extra from the dealer which alot of people didn't take, obviously in europe with their cars being LHD the stubby one comes on the opposite side to us which i got hold of one brand new from there. some cars over here didn't even come with a passaegnger side stubby in the first place! its all complicated nonsense but baisically they're a pig to source and i was quoted over £250 for a brand new for the electric and heated glass versions which mine are from VW.

So you are selling x2 stubbies that at heated and electric ? And Will fit on a Mk4 ?

Will the heated part work as my 16v doesn't have heated on it currently, only electric ?

If so, i'm interested if you could post ?

yeh the heated part will work, it comes on with the rear heated screen element and you proably do have it just haven't realised if yours are electric. and yeh they're stubby both sides, bolt straight onto a mk4 and have been properly rewired with mk4 plugs so they'll go straight on! can arrange post shouldn't be more than a tenner i wouldn't imagine..

Maybe if you lower the price a bit, they'd sell mate. I'm pretty sure you can get brand new one's cheaper than that

Sorry just trying to help with the sale mate! ;)

True true but when you add the additional cost of prep and paint for the brand-new items (they come primered I think, certainly not ready-painted)...

I'm surprised they haven't sold yet!

(free bump)

they're definately not cheaper new unless you get the rubbish patent no electrical ones! trust me i remember buying them

Do you ship to The Netherlands? If yes, what are the shipping costs?

A reaction please? I'm very interested

A reaction by mail is also fine: geoffreysnijder@gmail.com
