Just done a quick quote and its a surprise- insurance is really not that much more than what I'm paying now... Still a lot of money though.

I've got a 316 and its not the slowest things but so much for with the rwd :D I'm payin just over a grand for insurance well my parents are an I'm just 18

what are u payin now? an how old are u?

For my polo at the moment with everything declared about 2250 a year that's on my own policy and it was my first car after passing when I was 17, but I'm 18 now and a years no claims in feb.

Rice ftw?

Then your sorta in the shit if you ever crash. I've seen it happen when insurance companies don't pay out. The mods make a lot of difference- I was intending to go on a policy with parents but practically every company wouldn't let me because of the mods.

@ Civics- That's the style i would want my civic to end up like if I got one. I've got a couple of mates who are in to them, its where the idea came from.

@Jackblack- I can't driving a shit car though. Its been my curse when getting my first car, I knew it would be better to get a good cheap runner for a year then get a better car after years NC's and I know now the sensible option would be to do what you say [maybe not a vr6] but I just can't!

Funny that, because it's not actually a word...

LOL, think we'll just have to agree to disagree on that one then, especially seeming as you drive a Veyron ;)

small engined mk1 for me, if your gonna go slow you might as well look cool as fuck doing it.

it really depends on what your looking for in a car tho, its ok saying you could see yourself driving any of the above but you really need to look closer into what you want from a car. like if your used to more modern cars then maybe a mk1 wouldn't be for you, there very basic and nothing works how you would expect it to if your used to more modern cars, although you could get in it and love it for its imperfections. suppose i'm just trying to say that its worth baring in mind that living with some thing like a mk1 golf would be a big difference to living with your polo.

Polo GT in very good nick, get a years no claims off it then maybe Golf GTi..

And those Hondas are sweet!

Shite more like

No rice!

I've changed my mind, despite how nice alot of JDM Honda etc are, and how much i like them, I'm gonna say they're shit because it's the scene thing to do.

:retard:

Well after a lot of shit from selling my polo, I decided to go with a Mk 2 Golf gti 8v. Didn't get round to getting any pictures of it however after only owning it for a matter of months on monday it burned down. Fire started in the dash [no logical idea how], pulled over and the smoke got worse and worse. Tried to pull my headunit out and what not but it was too smokey!

On top of this the actual shell of the car got stolen before the police recovered it, along with the bumper which was stolen before. All pretty much sucks, now i've also lost my NCB, so not another gti for a while :(

got a shot in the local paper, which I thought was pretty pointless
