PSD eaton kit in good condition.

Featured Replies

Hey everyone.

I was going to sell this to a guy on here but after nagging me about it for ages he keeps mucking me about with payment so the kit is up for grabs on here. Bought this to fit onto a g40 in my mk1 but have decided to go down a bike engine route as it will be more of a challenge. As you can see from the pictures the kit is in good condition, although it has obviously been used so there are marks and scratches on the aluminium outlet etc. The altenator and crank pulley are in great condition with no wear to the teeth, although the charger pulley has a fair amount of wear. I'm guessing this is where the charger bounces around when it isnt supported appropriately. Although saying this it would still function perfectly well.

I have almost finished making a replacement pulley for the charger made from en24t which is a nice tough steel, which can be used for things like driveshafts. Although I am not including it in the sale it will be up for grabs once I have the time to finish it.

Comes complete with the charger and belt, but will require some supercharger oil which you can buy online for about £20 per bottle.

I'm looking for £620 inc royal mail special delivery for the kit.

If the person wants the pulley at a later date they can have it for £50.

Please send me a pm if you have any questions or are interested, I'm based in chelmsford, essex.

Cheers,

Dan.

Willing to sell for £500 without the eaton charger now if anyone is interested.

Just thought I would say after some enquiries that the original charger pulley will work fine. It's not so worn it wouldn't function correctly. I was simply giving an honest description, I've seen several toothed belt kits for sale described as good condition with a large amount of wear or damage to the teeth and backs of the pulleys. I don't know if people think the kit is over priced? I think it is a fair price considering there are so few of these available, and if you break down what you are getting for the money its a reasonable price. Its far superior to the AWT kit which comes in at £550 I think? Obviously without the charger itself.
