Hi every body, just registered have been meaning to do it for a while now actually got round to it. My name is Becky i'm from West Yorkshire and well in to my VW's! Sort of got into them through my boyfriend (been dragged to shows, then realising i want a sweet ride too!)

I have a 99' 1.4 16v polo in black magic pearl, bought the car off junior (mj interiors) back in late 05. The car was pretty much standard apart from the clear front end and Kamei debadged grille. Since then it has had loads of things done to it lowered on 40mm H&R springs and gas shocks, 7x15"RH Cup Wheels de-badged tailgate but kept the no plate recess & my boyfrind very kindly bought me for xmas 06 had my interior fully re-trimed in smooth black & purple nappa leather fitting Recaro front seats (mk3 golf colour concept), everything is done apart from the dash!

Which brings me to the question of coilovers i would like some for the car but dont really know which ones to go for? if anyone could help me with this i.e a range from budget to top notch stuff, would really appreciate it.

Hopefully if the pic has uploaded (i have also attached a pic of the boyfriends mk1 golf see what you think), this is my car at All Types 08 hope you like it, comments would be nice.I will look forward to using the forum as i have finally registered! cheers Becky.

ebay or phil jobbies for you budget coilovers. (ajustable height.)

kw variant 3s you top notch. (ajustable height.. rebound.. damper etc.)

depends what you needs are with regards to power of car.. wheres it gonna b driven.. how long u gonna keep it.. how much u wanna spend.

both will give u a nice drop.

example.. my mate had a set of coilovers that had ajustable height.. rebound.. damper.. camber etc. expensive.. great for the track but total over kill for the roads.

Hi Vic cheers for the help, hopefully the links work ok and you can see my photos slightly blurred will work on that see what you think? Had it done 3 years ago now and has been used as a daily driver since! (The lyliac colour is slightly light in the photos it is darker in natural light)There is no wear on them at all and it still smells fresh! cheers again for the help Rich&Becky.

Cheers for the comment, but your right my boyfriend sold his beloved 65' Ford Mustang to pay for that and a trip to New York! But he said it was well worth it to see my face on christmas morning! Also helps that he is very good friends with Junior from Mj interiors. www.mjinteriors.co.uk
