hey, i'm semi considering it.....

i was thinking about 1.8 turbo engine into a 16v polo. i keep seeing it done and donor engines are popping up all over the show. but what sort of money would it cost to get one fitted? assuming that i got all the parts myself?

also, how much (ish) bhp could i benefit from, sticking a turbo onto a 1.4 16v, is it worth it? and is it possible?

Cost alot to get that conversion done, its alot of labour.

1.4 16v Turbo is possible, Harv on here has done it with impressive results

sounds tempting. i take it the turbo option is cheaper? i've seen several 1.4 16v turbo ibiza's.... same sort of thing i guess.
