My Lovely New S Reg Polo MK4

Featured Replies

Hey guys, viewed the forum for a little over 2 months now, but didn't wanna post until I got my Polo. Bought it in South London for £800, bargain I thought!

Decided to wash it today, but it started raining shortly after! :x . I ain't gonna pretend I know anything about modding, cos I'm a complete novice. I'm definitely looking to get my car audio sorted though asap.

I'll start modding the car early next year I reckon, I only want slight/classy mods though, nothing major.

Any suggestions ? All opinions welcome.

Oh.....here's some pics...

(Don't ask me why my neighbours think putting Muller yoghurt pots on there plant pots is acceptable)

I waited three months to get the car I wanted, could have got a polo straight away - but was patient. She already has clear front indicators, so was thinking of the same for the rear ones possibly (?). After looking round the forum, I like the idea of debadging it & taking off the rubber strips for starters. Also looking to get a new Headunit & new 6x9s.

(I may nick the Muller pots as they've gone away for 3 weeks :-D )

yeh all sounds good think your onto a winner there mate

(think you should would be so funny haha)

Welcome to the forum, nice looking car youv got there too :)

But yeah i say definately steal the pots though :p

Looks tidy...for "classy mods" you'll have to go exspensive...Classy wheels :)

then obv coilies :) always a good combo.

Good luck!

When I said 'classy', I kinda meant subtle lol.

Any more suggestions people ? I'm a complete novice to this! :-(

nice starter you have there mate good luck with it,

by the way, why do your neighbours find it acceptable to put yoghurt pots on top of plant canes?

Yoghurt pots, wtf?

As for mods, i'd get a nice set of wheels and lower it, or lower it on those wheels as they're alright :D

Erm, if you want it to feel a bit more luxury, i'd reccomend mk3 Golf VR6 leathers, can be had for not too much money if you shop around (Mines MINT and got it for £220 altogether ;)), erm, as for the outside, like you said debadge it and take the side strips off, maybe get some 6n2 all red rear lights as they look good on this colour, maybe 16v bumpers too. :)
