Yep seen a few with both

Castellets are only 14x6, so will go on no bother with sensible tyre sizes

Estorils are 15x6 or 15x6.5, so you need to be quite careful with the tyre size

i am about to put aset of 15 le castellets on a mk4 polo should look good every seen aset on another polo

I've got le castelletes on mine.

when you say sensible tyre size do you mean smaller profile?

and thanks guys well helpful :-)

Yeah, to avoid rubbing, if its a 6.5 i'd recomend a 195/45 or even a 175/50 like Neil is running, I've heard some people running 60mm down on them but it depends on offset i guess..

i think ill try and get my hands on some Castellets. i wont no rubbing!

Ignore the pre-facelift rear bumper, and this is with a 5mm spacer as I'm using wider Golf MK3 rear drums, but its a 6x14 Le Castilette with 185x55x14 rim-protected tyre..

I think they look good, and they handle great with these tyres - though its only lowered 40mm and needs more for looks.

165/50 bridgestones fit perfect on an estoril.

will get pix up later.

you can get castis in 15" but they are ultra rare and command a big price tag

rolling on 15" estorils fitted with 165/50 federals dropped 80mm

14" castelettes fitted with 165/55s dropped 40mm

14s never scrubbed, 15s never scrubbed when dropped 40mm, when dropped 80mm the tyres sometimes touched the front splash guards.

even fitted the estorils to one of my old squarebacks and they didnt scrub on that either.

tyre choice and offset are key! 16s will go if the right tyres are used

That's got me wanting to get the Nitro-mors out Jon - they're still polished underneath.

i'd save it till summer, they were a bit of a bitch to keep shiney through winter, although i hadnt found the wonder that is meguiares metal polish when i had them.

i think you should just diamond cut them, would look ace!

thanks jon and mikey the pictures have helped loads. i think ill try for some estorils.

thanks again people!

them pics have made me well undecided was going to do my le castellets like the black ones but polished look really good but hard work mine are 15s with 195/50/15 should be fine

I considered going all the way to the centre, they'll cut,and it'd look great. If a bit too bling.

But i intend to go back to the original Hockenheim 13s.
