Window Problems

Featured Replies

Basically last night was putting my window down and heard a banging noise and my window wouldnt operate. I took my door card off and realise that one of the clamps holding the window in had fallen off. I put this back on hoping it would work, but it didnt.

Its stuck half way down and now it wont go up or down. I presume the motors gone?

Any help?

If the motor has gone would a motor off a golf fit?

Need to get this fixed quite soon as its typically raining

hey man, the motor might not of broke, it may of just seized or perhaps the cable has jammed somewhere. The cable is wrapped round a drum (within the motor housing) so it may of just came off that and has jammed.

Take the window system out and dismantle the motor, re-grease all the parts then test it.

I've had a few probs with my windows so let me know how you get on
