Constructive or not this is my criticism,

An Audi TT is a better car than any polo, regardless of modification. Unless in that modification you rebuild the entire chassis and just put a plastic polo shape ontop.

The TT will have everything, the polo not so. Stop dreaming of competing with a TT, even if it's quicker the TT will be a better car. Speed doesn't make a car good.

but anyway, just forget it, all i really wanted was some advice on where to get the parts i would need at a good price, as i said in my original post, but it seems that I'm not gonna get that advice, either way i want my car to be how i described in the original post, the tt was just motivation

not spent much time in london have you? and anyway i live in greater london, its a big place. easily accomodates a sports car....lol i was in central london the other day and a buggati veyron drove past..... and i was behind a gallardo a week ago, well not for long lol. so i dnt get you are point...if u dnt kno london dnt comment about it.

and since when was a sports car all about speed and nothing to do with prestige or showing off depending on what kinda sports car were talking about

I've been to London and I am SO glad I left the car at home cause quite frankly it was horrendous!

tt is faster than me.. but only by a little bit (highway race 120 kmh-180)

mate if you put the bam225 engine in with remap and other bits you say youll leave her standing. my 0-60 is 5 secs new tt int lol. i eat evo fq360s so tt no probs lol.

and as for budget conversion youll be lucky lol

Just save your money and get a tt in a few years, with the money that it DOES cost for a 1.8t conversion you could easily afford an old shape tt.

And for that utter toss comment on eating evo fq360's? someones living in cookoo laaaaand in fq360 0-60 mate is 3.9secs you tool!

maybe youve been having blasts with regular 280bhp uk-specs and still it would be close if your quoted 0-60 is accurate! Yes that would be impressive, but fq360's.....something your still MILES off my dear boy!

And i was in a similar situation to you. My ex GF's old man is miiiinted but wasnt quite as daft to hand her a spanking new TT straight away! what she got was the spanking new A3 2 litre TDI with 140bhp! Awesome motor to be honest! I was jealous but really couldnt care, means i no longer had to drive ALL the time and she could pick me up in i was booooooozy i had my 1.4 8v 6n2....looked the biz but i converted it to GTI! easily enough to be honest.

And out of coincedence...she's now 19 and guess what daddy then bought her? Yup, spankin new 2litre Turbo FSI Audi TT1 not bad for the wealthy eh!
