Anyone happen to know how much a new windscreen is from vw? or am i cheaper and better off bitching to my insurance about it? id prefer a new one to that autoglass filler crap

Its probably cheaper to get Autoglass (other companies are available blah) to fit one,than get a loose one from VW.

And fitting a new windscreen,well my first effort in a Fiat 128 was not a success..

wouldnt trust myself to fit windscreen probs fly off on the motorway

mk2 golf and polo ones are around the £70 mark at vw

I've had a few non vw ones and they seemed to chip really easy compared to genuine
