Featured Replies

Hi people,

been meaning to get some pics up for ages, finally got round to it =D

Its a 1995 1.3cl got about 70,000 on the clock now, i bought 2 years ago when i was learning, only just started to modify it though.

haven't got any pics completly standard as i got it with these alloys on, this is pretty much how it was when i got it. (sorry pics are only crap, just what i did with my phone)

Then i got the badgeless grill + bee sting ariel

Next some coilovers got these off philJ,(old shocker in background) you dont realise how many bumps and pot holes there are about haha!! ......That large rear boot spoiler really slows you down too!! lol

went abit too low to start wif and it draged its arse off!

so got it to a nice height (as long as there isnt more than 1 in the back) + smoked the back lights and repeaters

I have a new bumper waiting to go on as this one is knackerd!!

looking good mate not my colour tbh lol

but plans sound good so far

maybe some mk5 rears could work with pistachio?

and get rid of mud flaps

this colour seems to work pretty well with orange front indicators and 8v bumpers,

good start BTW, black steffan BCW's with a pinstriped pistachio lip may go quite well I reckon

m8 lovin it how much were the coilovers?

get some new alloys deep dish style and it will set the stance :)

is it de badged at the back?

coilovers were £200 pretty good, not that comfortable ride but pride is painfull!! lol. The back is stll badged at the min but thats in my to do list.

I reckon those wheels but lower with skinner tyres would be the tits!

Bit of inspiraton maybe..

looking good mate u'll have to pop ova n see me on HP sumtym lol

n if you need any help one of the weekends ill gladly help you do you are bump strips n badges :)

simon.

Good start, a bit of poke will work a treat now.

I would've left the repeaters orange, if it was me. Either get clear indicators and repeaters or have orange indicators and repeaters, that's what I think.

some new wheels, and take the "bee-sting" ariel off as its silver and the base for it is black and it just doesnt go looks tacky

bumps strips off aswell as mud guards and it'd be better

a few more ideas

DSC00094.jpg

hes already lowered it, got alloys on it and a debadges grill!

what ideas are new? oh the clear indicators, my bad

ok so heres some ideas you haven't done yet!

theres the STANDARD 16v look!

Photo-0027.jpg

smoothed 16v look (taking out the pointless fake vents)

Photo1stjuly.jpg

the 6n2 front bumper (my current one)

Photo-0366.jpg

and now theres the one I'm in the middle of as i type!

an even more smoothed 16v bumper (both side grills deleted)

Photo-0421.jpg

i think just about covers any bumper your likely to see on clubpolo (until i get my hands on the bumper i actually want)

hope that gives you some ideas
