Is My Parking Fine Invalid

Featured Replies

I've just got a parking fine for parking in a disable spot for a matter on minutes while i went to a cash machine.

BUT on the parking ticket it has the model of my car as a golf and it is a polo.

If the car reg is correct then I dont think there would be much you could do.

Fight it, I did and won. They got all my details correct but got the street I was parked on wrong, I wrote a letter to the dude it tells you on the back and they dropped the fine.

If the police/traffic authorities can't do their job correctly why should you have to pay them money?

Because disabled parking spaces are for disabled people !

I was parked on a street at 10.30 at night right next to a sign saying no parking after 9.30pm. The time was even written on the ticket, but they got the street wrong so its invalid.

lol 2nded - how much is the fine?

Just pay it and deal with it, it's not like someones smashed a window or something

its only 30 quid but i could think of something better to spend it on

Disabled Parking in Leeds is bad enough without cash point cripples :x

£30 isnt a bad fine. In my home town it would of been £70

Thats different though. I park in Parent and Child when there are no disabled spots. I mean that its annoying for people like me who actually need to use disabled spots to find people in them who clearly are using them out of laziness. Leeds is already terrible for it. I often have to shell out stupid amounts of cash to use NCP so i dont have to walk far when i could of parked for free in a disabled space on the same street, but i cant because lazy word i cant type on here are in them.

if you can't do the time, don't do the crime!

My mates used to park in disabled spots... I then deserted them... now I have none :ninja:

Reminds me of this... Roy style
