Polos Regarding Classic Insurance

Featured Replies

I'm currently insured with Footman and james on my beetle, I'm 19 and have been driving for about 19months.

I am currently on a classic insurance policy and paying around £450 a year tft only named drive being me.

I'm looking to get a polo atm and wondering what i could get classic insurance on polo wise?

I've contacted them before and they told me i can get roughtly the same premium on-

A Golf GTI thats over 15yrs old

A Golf thats over 20years old

A Polo thats over 20years old

So was wondering does anyone know goes a polo gt or any other model fall under the shortened policy with them or any other insurance company?

probably get a mk1 then. Not sure if a gt is old enough? I thought about a classic policy for my G but it's only a 1991

Don't know about 3's but I've never had a problem putting a mk2 on my classic policy with lancaster.

My Mk3 GT is on a classic car policy with Highway (via Brentacre).
