has any one put like the mk2 lights and grille on a mk3 . i searched the forum didnt do well.

I can't remember seeing this done, it'll be a lot of work because the mk2 front end is quite different in terms of the ends of the chassis legs, front crossmember etc.... Just buy a mk2, will be much easier.

Well,it is a repost - because its been done,and it was here that i saw a topic on it. Probably in the Polo General forum,but i can never find anything in the search.

You'd need the front panel,front lower cross member panel,and front slam/upper-cross member panel work. And you'd need to remove the extensions on the chassis legs.

But the chassis legs themselves are the same,and i believe the inner wings are. As is the scuttle panel.

The A pillars are shaped slightly differently at the base,not a problem in your case - much more of a problem if you want to fit a later front to an earlier car.

The car featured in the pics was a white one - in otherwise standard early '90s spec!
