Power:weight is very importantant. the lighter you can get it the better it will handle/accelerate/stop.

If you have the skills stuff like a DIY head port on a spare head,

GT camshaft (around £30-40)

Polo gt/g40 exhaust/manifold?

isent the gt Polo gt exhaust manifold the same as the rest of the polos i no the g40 has a massive bore on them

i know bigger bore more air flow but its same size valves could i change my head ?

i know bigger bore more air flow but its same size valves could i change my head ?16 v ??

16v head? No. Unlucky.

I was thinking the 1.4 MK3 Golf head, that'd fit,but i dont think the ports/valves are any bigger. Its cam is a touch better though,if you can get one cheap enough (its not as good as a GT cam).

But then,if you're gonna nick bits from a 1.4 Golf, you'd just take the whole engine - prices are dropping, and its a straight swap.
