DO NOT use this

if you look in the engine bay below the header tank there should be grommets there

if not then you will have to drill a hole thorugh the bulkhead in the passengers footweel behind the carpet

Don't do any drilling. There is a fairly obvious grommet if you look into the engine bay which will lead out in the passenger footwell, then run the wire underneath the rubber sealing along the inside of the passenger side of the car into the boot.

y not use the 12v outlet? thats all a sub needs and will save messing around surly?

think about it look at the size of the fuse on the amp probably going to be a minimum of 20 amps

a cigarette lighter is only designed to supply a maximum of 10 amps

all car amps generally require at least 8awg power cable and the cigarette lighter is only 24awg

so if you run the amp from here it will constantly turn itself off as the 24awg cable supplying the cigarette lighter will not be able to supply enough current and could get VERY hot and melt itself and could cause a fire

but hey what do i know i have only been working in the audio industry as and alarm and audio fitter for 20 years

if your like me and have 0 gauge then your going to have to drill! even possibly for 4 awg which a most decent amplifiers require!

i got 4 AWG into my one...was a struggle and had to "open up" the grommet quite a bit, but i got it through

This was on a 6n, but may be similar.

As I've got a rear wiper blank plate, locate the rear wiper screen wash pipe that runs through the firewall, chop it out and theres enough space in that hole for a 0guage power cable.

Hope this helps ( only use this if youve scrapped your rear wiper, watch out when you cut it, wiper fluid pisses everywhere. Put a screw in the end and cable tie it up closer to the washer fluid tank)

I used a blanking gromet as i found the gromet pictured was to much hastle i started from inside the pasenger footwell and found a hole big enuf to get a 4gauge easily through the gromet pictured is a nightmare to get anything through as the gap id tight and no way can u get a 4 guage through without damaging the gromet
