16s On 6n

Featured Replies

Ey up, I've spotted a nice set of 7J16" 2-piece BBS splits for sale, and fancy them to go on my 6N valver.

The problem though is that they are 5x100, so i will need PCD adapters. The thinnest available are 20mm, so I've got my fingers crossed that the wheels have a high offset(its not stated in the ad).

My question is what offset are people who have 16s on their 6Ns running?

I currently have 7J15 ATS cups with an offset of 28 (IIRC) and they're fine, but would the increased diameter casue any clearence issues?

Thanks!

For safety don't run an offset less than 35.

are they rx2 alloys ie the bigger version of the polo gti wheel?

if so 20mm adapters will be fine as they are a rather high offset!

What is unsafe about running an offset lower than 35?

Er...not sure what they are tbh, theres not much info in the ad, just a couple of pretty pictures  But yeh, they look a bit like Polo GTi alloys.

THanks for your help mate. :-D
