Yeah, we did this on Stevie's car for him. The main drawback is it's longer than the mk2 dash, so you either have to run mk3 door cards, or damp down the mk2 ones til they're squidgy and slam the door :)

Why would you want to though - mk2 dashes are the pinnacle of german old skool functionality.
