I'm not too fussed about the fuel econamy as my previous car was a golf vr6 and i used to drive it hard so i used to average 23mpg and that was £60 a week habbit

i been out in a mk4 golf 1.8t that was remapped to 225bhp

and thats what made me want a 1.8t

but iv found when I'm searching the boras are alot cheaper than the golfs and i like the look of em and iv seen a black one with the golf front end that made me want one even more

Gora's really not to my taste TBH but theres only a couple of em around so would be different! Well a V5 is basically a VR6 with a cylinder removed so not that different.

For me a 1.8t is the way forward had a blast in a 360bhp one and now I'm hooked!

Just a little update on a few additions:

I've got some GLI rear lights from the US which have gone on, its been lowered more at the rear so its sitting level now just waiting on the spacers for the rear.

Know a few of Dans mates saw it on Sunday looks quite big compared to all the Polo's!

Yeah there more smoked in the flesh than they look in the pics.

Got a contact now for the turbo parts so gonna work a few bits out with the guys with the 1.8t's and hopefully gonna get it turboed by summer ready for Edition.

Right then, a little bit of an update of a few little bits I've done to the car.

I've been adding a few black bits to the car to change the look a little - mirror caps, badges, slats of the grille and finally got round to Joey modding the headlights which I'm really pleased with the look of. Add to the GLI look... Also painted the rear calipers red to match the fronts.

Heres a few pics after a clean yesterday:

Just really need to get spacers sorted now to get it sitting better and then a few other bits I'm waiting to arrive
