Well its a diesel engine so i can quite believe its done that, still very impressive for a little polo though.

think VW would now declare that "run in"

i bet if you jetwashed that engine bay it would look like new almost.

Opps says on his profile lol, some serious millage from these cars!

Its on 245,000k at the minute. 1 rebuild at 180k, 1 charger rebuild at 193k (had never been done before up until then as it had the original bearings! )

friend of mine had an Acura Integra in the states, which did 380,000 miles, and is still going.. same engine!

That gives me some peace of mind! mine is on 118K now. Roll on 400K!

the average car in australia has around 300-500 thousand miles on it (heard from the mechanic at work who went travelling for a year, so dont shoot me :p) and people still buy them so a car out there with like 80'000 miles is new

Isit your 6N Sam_R lol End of day its a diesel it isnt out spectacular, diesel will go round the clock.
