as much as you dont want to hear it, id say thats rather illegal. the wheel is quite a noticable distance from th arch.....

oh and if they don't catch, you're not low enough.

get some stretched tyres on and i think you'll get away with it. having the tread sticking out of the arch is a defo no no

i do agree with panda that it doesn't look low enough and it will catch like mad, and my feelings on pokeing wheels was summed up brillinatly by chrispy 'business up front and party out back'

yeh your right i just went out and they do catch like a bitch! it's got 20mm spacers on atm. I'd take them off but i dont want the tyres to touch the suspension..

does anyone know if 7.5" by 15" wheels will touch coilovers with 195/45/15's on?

ha ha thats why they are sticking out so far. i would take the spacers out and give it a go up and down the road. i 90% sure the tyres shouldn't catch the suspension. then if they do catch just try putting in some 5mm spacers as they will only catch by a small amount

yeh it depends on the offset, if they catch on the suspension, but if it does catch which i doubt it will, just stick some 5mm spacers in!

ok I've taken the spacers off and they do not touch. but they are sooooooo close! literally 1 or 2mm or so.

go some nasty cuts in the tyres too... bit of a waist of money as they're brand new!

i had to raise the bac up a little too because they kept catching whenever i hit a bump and it was especially bad when i had people in the back.

but now I've got a nasty old gap in the wheel arch when its parked and it look uuugly!

how to over come this problem people.....?

On the police site i got a link to on stretch and poke a while ago i remember reading the wheel itself cant stick out the arch more than 3 cm, if it does its illegal.

I also remember reading that it was bolox that wheels could harm someone near by as the police roit (or similar) vans wheel nuts stick out further than the arches and the wheels! iir cit was skatty who put that up on there
