Bumper is saveable - maybe smooth off the numberplate plynth like Stuart_hatch's motor

Driver side wing is saveable, but will require a fine hand!

Sourced a 2nd hand intercooler & foglight for £100 off the skoda forum

Front rad panel ordered from Skoda - collecting tomorrow

Still need to source:-

radiator grill

foglight grills

Skoda badge

Radiator bracket / fixtures

car goes into bodyshop tomorrow - i'm going up on Thursday to strip down the front end and save a few £££ on labour!

Well! I've been upto the bodyshop today to see how my mate was getting on with the repairs to the VRS. i told him I would drop in as and when parts showed up. When we took the car up all I had was the new front panel. I was up there on Thursday dropping off my new crystal black headlights, pair of foglights, intercooler & various bits of bumper plastic.

Went up at 1pm to drop off the grill which arrived yesterday - wasnt expecting much progress. i was pleasantly surprised!

Here are some pics from today - got the car washed and waxed, fitted new legal hi-Line numberplates & VRS Plate surrounds. New front and rear "Skoda" roundel's, LED side lights and old H7 & H3 bulbs until my LED's & HID's show up. Scotland flag & GB sticker on for my trip to Germany in 3 weeks time.

Noticed my rear discs are quite badly rusted on the faces and seem to have hardly any pad to disc contact scratches - maybe need a quick service.

Also 2 of the bolts on my top mount were loose - i have one of the seat strut braces and the 2 bolts that arent used to hold the brace in place were both loose.

The wheels just need a quick repolish too.
