Almost New Mk3 70/60 Kit

Featured Replies

I have the suspension off my old polo for sale, wasnt gona bother but i dont see the point keeping it any more as i dont think il be playing with polos again.

The springs i bought off one of the original CP members, i can't remember his name but he bought them off a german polo tuning site, they are 60mm springs but they dont have any brand markings on. They did just shy of 4k on his mk1 polo before he changed to coilovers, i bought them and then never drove the car with them on! He had a receipt for just the spring kit which cost around £100 iirc when new but i never got this off him.

The shocks are GMax uprated fast road dampers, they came as part of a kit which cost around £250 new a few years back. I bought them off a guy who had bought them new and then never fitted them. They have never been driven on and only fitted to my car for a while, so are as good as new.

I also have supersport lowering top caps fitted with these springs to bring the front down a tad, it sat really nicely on my GT though as i never drove it, it didnt get chance to settle. These cost me £30 new, i only want a tenner for them. Am willing to sell them seperately but will need your old top caps in exchange!

I realise that there are some traders offering dirt cheap kits for £150, but some of the cars i've been in dont seem to ride too well on this cheap setup, and i've heard varying reports of how long they've lasted. I'd like £100 for my spring and shock kit considering i feel it is of a superior quality, and is as good as new to all intents and purposes. If you want the top caps id like a tenner for these too.

I have currently got the complete front struts (minus brakes) removed from the car and pretty much ready to bolt on, to save you the hassle of stripping your old ones down once they're off the car. For the whole setup including the front struts and top caps i would like £130, feel free to make offers but "£50 and a bag of skittles" won't get you far

Obviously due to the weight of the struts you will probably want to collect them, i would imagine postage may cost a fair bit!
