exactly you can lower it as much as you like but with standard of british roads as they are you'll just run into trouble. You'll lower it and your usual everyday run will be fine, and then one day on the way back from work you'll say to yourself "i haven't been down this way in ages" take a detour and forget that the surface is shit and loose a load of the waxouyl off your car.

stupidly low is ok for magazines but realistically its better off just leaving it a bit higher

id say play it safe with an 80/60 kit, that'll look nice and low and should be drivable depending on the condition of the roads that you drive on-failing that, 60/40 ?

tis a mk2 polo and it is my daily hack so need it to be useable

dont want any fancy wheels as its a ratty shitter,just want it lower as am gettin a nose bleed from beein so high!

the first number they say is nomally the front so eg 60/40 kit would mean 60mm on the front and 40mm on the rear.

^Theres something about this car I really like. Obviously the twin carbs being one of them. You can't beat those steels, classic. Would like to see more pictures..

I've got a philj 60/40 kit with the rear at highest setting and feel some lowering caps on the front would get the nose down like above.

However I wouldn't want to go lower than that because of speed bumps and generally shit roads. I was in Edinburgh at Christmas time, what a nightmare ragged my exhaust like ten times. Some adjustment of exhaust clamps and height or something custom would definitely help.

Respect to folk who go lower.

Hi, standard german Winter Tyres for 135/55-13 as for drop don't know as I got off a M8 but i have no problems(but you must change anty roll bar as it hits gear box end plate on the 5 speed box) lots and lots and lots of speed bumps on camp and no problem. but it helps German roads ar ALMOST smoooth...think it may be 80/60 drop
