If its a 6n2 and you mean smoothing the rub strips

They are a lot of work to get to a high standard, and i would need to order specific products, GRP filler (contains carbon fibre and stays flexible so the job doesn't crack) and Polypropelene rods and patches to cover the holes etc left behind the mouldings.

Smoothed bumpers:- £95 per bumper (price includes specific materials, fillers and paint)

It really angers me that people have to post negatives on other peoples posts when they really dont know and just make a guess..

Prices.....

6n2 Rear tailgate badge removal (VW one) with recess welded over, smoothed , sprayed, laquered

£80 all in.

6n2 Front bonnet badge recess removal (welded again )

smoothed , sprayed, laquered

£80 all in

6n2 Front / Rear bumperstrip removal / plastic weld / filled etc

£95 per bumper all in inc spraying materials etc.

I am reading this thread as someone who is offering a service at cost/loss to build up their expereience, so believe it is rightly placed as none-commericial. To this end, any negative posts have been removed, and reoffences may lead to a warning.

Thanks

Hi, I've managed to smack my polo (6N2 GTI) I'm sourcing a bonnet and bumper but will need them painted (they will probably be primer). I'm also tempted to change the complete colour. black at the mo but I'm after white. no body work needed though. any ideas on prices for the 2 jobs. i dont mean to offend but I'm after a glass smooth showroom finish. our body shop at work seem to have the ability of chimps and everything comes back with the finish of a month old orange lol.

thanks
