i was thinkin of writing to them and asking if they would do a feuture on the polo range making sure they include the importanat ones like the g40, gt, 16v mk4, the gti's and gt tdi's but it could be a waste of time as they probably just chuck half the letters away. would be so good to see them racing round the track though. i think ill put a letter together when I've got some spare time, worth a try!!

They've destroyed a load of cars, get over it.

No cars going to stay on the road for ever, id rather see it die in a funny way rather than wrapped around a lampost.

Admittedly if they did that to my polo id be a bit gutted, but id see the funny side more and be glad it got fame just before its death!

Was a good episode tbh. The fiesta on the beach thing was BS lol. Was a clip in the sun a month or so ago showing that it had gotten stuck and they couldn't get it out in time before the tide came in. it was fully submerged lmao!

Haha,I'm not even gonna look on the Marina forum. But it should be known how rare those cars have got,and i remember when they were absolutely everywhere - literally as common as the Vectra.

However,i have no sentiment. They were a representation of how bad our motor industry got. Our journalists said 'it handles like a pig,it just wont turn into corners,you're not actually gonna release the car for production like this,surely?' but this was British Leyland.

Top Gear's stunt was a sacrifice - the car died for a good cause imo. And i wouldnt have cared if it was the last one.
