IMO mk5s look better with the bumpstrips, the only things i'm smoothing on mine are the boot handle (keeping badge), and side repeaters.

I thought it may have meant that tbh, but then if it were me asking the question id save the confusion and say 'smoothed' instead lol.

Colour coded bump strips look better IMO, all depends on the car I guess.
