I'm just thinking...

I have two options. I do a heck of a lot of mileage so I need a setup that drops me 40mm on 16" rims but at the same time I dont want to feel every last detail in the road, i definatly dont want a harsh ride.

So I wondered what is the difference between normal shocks and gas shocks?

is there a difference in ride quality?

The nitrogen shock and spring setup is by SPAX

the normal option is via PhilJ

Do you think the SPAX are worth the extra money? I'm looking at about £280 for the SPAX setup.

gas shocks are much better, last longer, better quality.

i've never had anything good to say about spax tho, look at bilstein B5 shocks they're the dogs. maybe slightly more expensive but worth it
