hi all but sometimes when starting the car it does a couple of revs by itself even when slightly warm. any ideas what this can be.many thanks

no dont think so, but what i meant was normaly after starting a car it will just run on tick over ,however sometimes the engine revs by itself upto 2500rpm 2 or 3 times as if you have bliped the accelarator and then returns to tick over without me actually doing anything hope this is clearer. thanks steve
