Yep carbon, that why they cost a bomb!

You could see as much as you would in a normal mirror, it was like going from a 32" TV to a portable one, you see the same thing just on a smaller scale.

The mirror is curved so you can see more.

Not really, i got myself another bit of carbon fibre to make 2 base plates, then get yourself the correct nuts and bolts to reach from the base plate to the inside of the door, secure them and cover the nuts up with the interior wing mirror cover.

The bastard job is taking the old wing mirrors off!

Its red piping from a Mk5 Golf GTI just cut to length and clear siliconed onto my grill surround.
